Research
- No safety for refugee
women on the European Route - report from
the Balkans; by the Women's Refugee Commission. There is virtually no
consideration of gender-based violence along the route to ensure
safe environments, identify survivors and ensure that services
are provided to them. Protection risks for women, girls and
other vulnerable groups are present at every stage of the
European refugee migration; and at every point where risk could
be mitigated, the opportunity to do so is squandered. To read

and young families less like to meet the current threshold for
family migration - A majority (55%) of
British women and people under 30 (53%) are excluded from
bringing a spouse or family member from outside the EU to live
with them in the UK under the current £18,600 income threshold,
a new report by the Migration observatory at the University of

risks child poverty timebomb; 200,000 more London kids in
poverty by 2020 - Two hundred thousand
more London children could be tipped into poverty by 2020 unless
action is taken on key areas like jobs, childcare and housing,
warns a coalition of leading charities. Up to half the extra

by registered charities. There is no limit to how much you can
apply for, although the project must benefit people in the UK.

Trust - Small
Projects Funding Guide. In 2016, the Trust will invite
applications that encourage lasting benefits by bringing people
together to improve local ecology and habitats, encourage
bio-diversity and benefit the wider environment. Registered

projects meeting the above remit, whilst other organisations may

For It grants give funding for not-for-profit projects and
regular activities that can bring communities together and

Foundation - Grants to Schools and Organisations - Grants are available
for schools and organisations to support education and

London Small Business Micro Loan Fund - to help people set up
and grow their own business in London. This Fund will enable
people who cannot access finance through usual channels to
realise their potential for the benefits of themselves, their
